What is your Thanksgiving Day menu?

Anonymous
I just finished figuring out my menu and then started reading all these posts and realized I don't have any potato dishes. Do I bump the corn pudding off for mashed potatoes, or do I say screw it, we're having latkes tonight for Hanukkah, who needs potatoes at thanksgiving. Would you be horrified to not have any potato dish at your thanksgiving meal? FWIW it's the same group of people who willl be eating here tonight for Hanukkah as will be here for thanksgiving tomorrow.

Yes, I would be VERY SAD! The mashed potatoes and gravy are my favorite part! I can see why you might be tempted to not bother.

I want to thank those who mentioned a relish tray--reminds me of my mom, who is no longer with us.
