You're a little over the top. Obama was born in the US from an American mother, raised by American grandparents and he visited Kenya a couple times in his adulthood. Why didn't/don't we ever question white candidates and their motives based on their country of origin? You like 99% of the public seem to believe that white Americans just grew out of the soil. White Americans also originated from other countries! |
Oh, stop trying to deflect the real point I was making. The issue you raised which I found offensive was not whether Obama's aunt should have a subsidized unit but that this suggested that Obama might be more for Africa than the United States. That's like me saying McCain's earlier soft position on immigration (that he has since flipflopped on) must mean he is more for Panama than the United States -- since McCain was actually born in Panama (and Obama was born in the US, btw). That would be just as absurd and just as offensive. And, yes, I think it's so paranoid as to require meds. |
To many (or too much of the one same) Republican Trolls on here. Not worth arguing about. |
Here's hoping all those Republican Trolls get out and VOTE. And tomorrow, we will all wake up and be Americans! |
Not a troll, but I voted today. |
bad excuse. Obama chose to reject public campaign financing so he should've had staff on hand to take care of this... Hillary's campaign was able to do it. |
Not quite: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1007/6643.html The Los Angeles Times looked at 150 donations made to Clinton after fundraising events targeting the Chinese community. It had trouble tracking down many donors. Most had not registered to vote, many held low-paying jobs that would make it difficult to scrounge together cash for political contributions and some said they said they were instructed to give by community leaders, the paper reported. A cook in New York’s Chinatown neighborhood told the New York Post she was reimbursed for her $1,000 contribution to Clinton, a senator from New York. |
