Fellow Magruder alum?

Not the PP but I'm a Magruder alum. #GoColonels LOL

I've seen the tan anorexic lady on Great Seneca too but never this guy. I feel so left out.

Any recent sightings? I haven’t seen him in a while.

This thread is bizarre. He's a person ,not big foot or Santa Claus.

I love this thread! Even though I've never seen this guy or the twig lady who used to look like a body-builder, it's reassuring that other folks notice this type of thing too. When my klds -- now in high school and college -- were in elementary school we used to see two ladies walking together every day when we drove to school. They were obviously great friends, talking animatedly with one another, and they were visually striking -- one was petite with long grey hair and the other taller with very red lipstick. We would judge whether we were late or on time or early to school by where we saw the walking ladies.

When the kids all went on to middle school, we no longer saw the walking ladies, but from time to time we talked about them and wondered how they were doing. About a year ago, I saw the petite lady walking with another friend and immediately texted my kids. The oldest is in college on the west coast, but texted right back to ask if we all thought the other friend had died or if they'd had a falling out. We may never know, but the walking ladies will remain vivid in our memories!

I think I saw him a few weeks ago in October. It was out on 200, heading towards Annapolis. Seems a bit out of the way, but the fleeting glimpse I got sure seemed like him (distinctive blond hair, tanned, wearing shorts although the weather was starting to get a bit chilly, kind of unlikely place to be walking).

I saw him recently near the Lincoln memorial. His hair is short now.

I used to see this man all the time in the Rockville/Gaithersburg area, sometimes on Rockville Pike but most often on the Rock Creek Trail between Lake Needwood and Veirs Mill Road. Now I haven't seen him for a few years.

On the other hand, I see the tan, skinny woman walking everywhere - on Beach Dr, the Rock Creek Trail, Rockville Pike, Tuckerman, etc. She must cover a very wide area because I've also seen her in Gaithersburg.

My DH says he sees him every now and then on Georgia near the Glenmont metro.

Does the woman you're talking about have short gray hair and glasses? Walks kind of hunched forward?

More like short blondish hair, no glasses and walks a little hunched forward.

There's a similar woman I see often around Cabin John shopping center and in Rockville. She's older, sometimes leaves crumbs for animals. I did think she had glasses though.

Haven't read through all 6 pages of this post but does anyone know who he is? I started seeing him in Olney back in the early 1990's, always tan, always with gym shorts....just walking and walking...but to where? does he work? does he have a family?

This is the OP and I can't believe this thread is still going strong. I haven't seen him in ages.
