| 10:1 he is a mental case with a trust fund..... |
OH! I know that guy! I've been following this feeling jealous that I hadn't seen him. But I saw him last week! Trader Joe's Smiley Boom Box Guy! |
I'm not sure it's the same guy. |
| I've been seeing him along Rock Creek Parkway occasionally for years. He's been a running joke with a couple of co-workers who commute the same way. I hadn't seen him in a while until last week or the week before--he definitely got a haircut, but was in the same short red shorts! |
| He reminds me of sideshow Bob from the Simpsons. |

Wow, now I'm going to be on the lookout for him. I can't believe I've never seen him.
Jewfro isn't offensive; it's a compliment. I attempted to shave a Jewish friend's hair at his request for Hallowe'en. It broke my Wahl razor. It also broke another razor. Finally he went home, got his and I finished with that. Funny thing is, his hair was mildly wavy looking and short, from afar. Up close, it was so gorgeously thick. Like if an average amount of follicles per square cm is 350, this friend had 1000! It still excites me to remember. |
Judging my the pictures on the facebook page, it's the same guy. |
| Think he was spotted today near the Capitol. Does he get down there ever? The crazy red shorts were amazing. Friend snapped a pic. |
Yes, he cut his hair. It's a little shorter. I live in that area. I used to see him on a regular basis. Today, in fact, he was on GA Ave, close to Aspen Hill. |
| He would frequently be alongside Muncaster Mill Road during the mid- to late-1980s. My schoolbus would pass him walking between Redland MS and Needwood Rd. |
Not the same guy. He has never carried a boom box all the times I have seen him. |
| I've seen him in Chevy Chase on Conn Ave., but I have never seen him in Olney. |
Are you hypothesizing or do you know this? |
| Just saw him on Sunday in RCP near Candy Cane. I actually passed him walking and almost considered striking up a conversation but didn't. |
| Was on Emory Lane yesterday |
