| 40. Love the snark and the crazy but not the mean. I actually cried at one poster who said something very mean to me. |

I'm 45.
Am horrified to print that I've been on here NINE years. |
| 44. On for the past three years, once the oldest reached school age (my gateway drug: DC public and public charter schools). Now addicted to off topic. Have definitely been snarky, have tried not to be too mean too many times, and have tried to helpful when able. But mostly find the hidden info you'd only tell someone anonymously to be fascinating. |

pshaw. I'd have to actually ever go anywhere else on the 'net for them to analyze me. I'm trapped here, cursed by my curiosity....
|
| 39, on for the past 5 years, since TTC for #1. Gravitate towards off-topic more now, and Real Estate since we bought a house recently. |
| 37. Mostly a lurker. |

OP here. Came for Snowmageddon, and stayed for the wit, snark, info, and crazy. Could do without the mean, too. But it doesn't bother me personally. Feel badly for those who take it more to heart, like a PP.
And do sometimes wish the folk not in DC chime in. I really do like that most folks are local, at least on the threads that I read. |
| 55 but the mother of a ten year old - oops. |

| 40. Hate the mean. Mostly a lurker. |
| I am a teacher at a DC charter. I am 27. I have been visiting DCUM, starting with the listserve and then soon after the forums, since 2004 when a mom I nannied for introduced me to it. I used to get lots of babysitting jobs here during college. |
