| OP here. I'm still around, but didn't notice this thread was revived over the last few days. Thank you all for your thoughtful and understanding comments. Yes, I did make my original post on an especially difficult day and my level of frustration and pain was at its height. I still feel many of the sentiments I initially posted about, but in general I'm coping better, and DD seems to be demonstrating some real progress. The road ahead is uncertain and sure to be difficult, but I appreciate everyone here who allowed me to vent. |
