If you could spend about 1k on handbag

What I don't understand is why OP feels the need to possess a $1K handbag. Don't give me that line about its beautiful workmanship, etc. That's a load of crap. There are a lot of more reasonably priced, just as good bags on the market. It's overpriced for what it is, and no one except another woman who has or covets that kind of bag can tell the difference. So basically I guess she wants it for the ostensible "status" of owning the bag. Is that what it is?

Because its OPs money and she can do what she wants with it. Whats with this holier than thouh BS attitude? And maybe OP DOES donate money to charity as many of us do and can also use her money to indulge. Hey pp, why dont you donate all your disposable income to charity so you only have what is left for the essentials and then maybe you can have a claim in this discussion. I spent $1200 on a YSL bag about a year ago. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I get a ton of compliments on the bag. The logo is tiny and no one knows what brand I am carrying...it's just clear from the craftmanship and the quality of leather that it is an exquisite bag. I highly recommend finding a bag that suits you...that you will carry for a while to get the most out of your investment...and wear it proudly.

Well, if you are going to blow 1k on a shopping spree to help the economy, better to buy lots of things at a few different stores, rather than drop it all on one item at Neiman's or LV.

If you have the time to browse DCUM for frivolous accessories threads in the beauty section, you have extra time on your hands. You should instead spend all of your time on the internet writing articles for content sites and then donating the money you make to your local shelter or food bank.

Well said PP. To the shelter/food bank poster, it's not all about money. You could also use the time you spent browsing on the Internet working at a local shelter or food bank. When you stop "wasting" your time that you cold be volunteering, then you can ask the rest of us to stop "wasting" our money that we could be otherwise donating. Until then, save your judgement. Nobody is perfect.

To the Belen Echandia poster- I don't know whether to hug or curse you. Those bags are beautiful! I'm not sure I'll be able to make it through the day without ordering one.
