Throwback Pepsi is the best. DH is from Texas and he loves the throwback Dr. Pepper. The throwback sodas taste like they did when we were kids, before corn syrup ruined everything!

When did they stop using sugar?

Whenever they started using high fructose corn syrup in everything. The real sugar sodas taste so much better.

Oh, I couldn't leave this alone, some time around 1982 is when they started using HFCS.

Yeah it was definitely early 80's. I love Dr Pepper too and when I saw a case of the Heritage Dr Pepper in Giant I slammed it into the cart so fast I'm surprised it didn't explode. Last weekend I went to Home Depot behind Montgomery Mall and they had........ Mexican Coke. In beautiful little glass bottles.

I'm another sugary cereal addict. My favorite is Peanut Butter Crunch and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Maybe once every few months I'll see them on sale or come across a coupon and think *Why not?*

I see kids at school (teacher) eat them w/school lunches and i just CRAVE them. i got one kid to give me one, once. I was thinking they were just potatoes but once i read the package and EEEwwwwww. I eat mac and cheese and hotdogs now that i'm a mom (solidarity!) but it's all pure and organic and all that crap. Takes the fun out of it.

If you need a Tater Tot fix, make a pilgrimage down to the Sonic drive-in in Fredericksburg. Best tots ever. And the slushies are great too!

I think there is a Sonic in Annapolis now, too.

Awesome! I usually use a drive to the in-laws as an excuse to stop at Sonic. They are only 2.5 hours a way but I still feel the need to stop for a slushie and a corn dog.

I like pretzel and cheese combos and coke zero on car trips.

I have been known to eat frosting out a can or dip an banana in nutella.

It's all a Wisconsin thing....

Cheese curds
Point beer
Brats

Those are what I think when I think of Wisconsin.

Merkt's port wine cheddar cheese spread on Wheat Thins accompanied by a big bag of Mesquite Kruncher's chips AFTER a butter burger at Kopp's and extra thick Sprecher root beer flavored frozen custard shake. That's a WI thing.

I buy the roll of cookie dough and cook it about half way before eating it with a spoon. MMmmmmm.
Fortunately, my looney husband likes it, too!

Hot fudge sauce out the jar.

I have been on a serious Cap'n Crunch kick the past few months. At first I blamed it on pregnancy. But now, I'm one month PP and i don't have that excuse anymore. I totally sit there and eat it and tell my daughters they can't have it because it's too sugary. Nice example I'm setting there.

I'll add myself to the list of Combos and a Coke in the car. Best road trip snack ever.

I put potato chips on my PB&J sandwich--on the sandwich, between the slides of bread--unless it's on toast.

My total vacation food too! Gotta love me some Little Debbies. That and Big Macs. I seriously love Big Macs.

LOVE! I'll eat them for breakfast if I have them!

Gummy bears. In any quantities. I have been known to sneak a couple of my kids gummy-vites when the craving strikes (b/c I don't keep the real stuff in the house - that would be detrimental to my health, as I have zero self control around those bad boys).

Ramen. Cooked to make it spicy and accompanied by a cold beer.
And my most embarrassing food preference--I may be the only person in America who actually likes the McRib.

Cookies and Cream Pop Tart over vanilla ice cream
