What's the most embarassing food you still eat?

I'm from western NY so I also enjoy beef on weck, cheese curd, salt potatoes and birch beer. But I try to keep all of the above to a few times a year max. I'm not winning that battle with Coke. A Coke with crushed ice is heaven.

fountain coke with those pressed ice pellets is just about the best thing i have ever had! i want an ice pellet machine for my house.

But what's the point then? It is much more interesting that I'm a healthy, organic food snob eater who likes trashy donuts. If it were a bunch of people who eat crap all day every day it wouldn't be that interesting.

In our house, beef jerky is enjoyed by all family members, including our 4 and 5 year old kids. I'm sure they would adore slim jims, but I have held off.

Alot of ppl think egg salad is for babies....i bring it for lunch and I hear it alot. I love it! Maybe my co-workers are all assholes. HA

I eat egg salad I make at home usually 2x a week!

I also love Ramen, Totinos pizza rolls and Cheez Doodles! I am ashamed to eat vienna sausages out of the can. Taste great with white rice. I eat this (and ramen) when DH goes out of town.

BUT, I totally love kraft macaroni and cheese and eat it about once every 4-6 weeks. I would be embarrassed to admit this to my real life friends. Anyone else having an embarrassing food they ate in childhood that they haven't gotten out of their diet?

I made Macoroni and cheese from scratch and it is beyond delicious but I, too, would be embarassed, nay mortified, to admit that I ate Kraft Mac & Cheese!

Yeah it was definitely early 80's. I love Dr Pepper too and when I saw a case of the Heritage Dr Pepper in Giant I slammed it into the cart so fast I'm surprised it didn't explode. Last weekend I went to Home Depot behind Montgomery Mall and they had........ Mexican Coke. In beautiful little glass bottles.

I'm another sugary cereal addict. My favorite is Peanut Butter Crunch and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Maybe once every few months I'll see them on sale or come across a coupon and think *Why not?*

Costco in Arlington sells coke made in Mexico with pure can sugar in glass bottles.

I am so bad. I don't eat much of this stuff often at all (often out of view of my husband and child), but here is the list:

Pork Rinds (the bbq kind)
Herring in cream sauce
Arby's roast beef (or beef n' cheddar if feeling particularly bad)
canned frosting with a spoon (a nod to the hot fugde eater above)
funnel cakes whenever I can get one
canned corned beef hash
beef jerky
Reese's peanut butter eggs when you can get them
fluffernutter sandwiches
chocolate cream oreos (my husband actually enables this habit)
Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pies

Tater-tot casserole once a year and Ramen Noodles all gussied up about 3xs a year. Ramen just reminds me of my highschool days. A bit of nostalgia for a few bong hits and then some Ramen.
