Curious - are posters on this forum "unfriendly" because they are anonymous..

Just to be clear, this is directed at 23:13, not at 6:05 who is spot-on.

Fish sticks in addition for some of the picky kids at home. Then we made sure homework was finished, had an hour of free time, and put everyone to bed. Busy day. Thankfully, not much time for arguing today.

Why are you catering to the picky kids, by cooking them separate, special meals? That doesn't sound like good parenting to me.

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury,pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.

So, in real life, do you burst into audible prayer whenever you see strangers arguing?
Anonymous
No, but I might say a little prayer in silence. ("O God please give me the strength to get through another commute with the kids screaming and fighting in the back seat.")
