Really? How will the last “mile” portion of the delivery from the curb to the door work? |
You get off your ass and walk to the curb when notified. |
Delivery robots are already use in some cities. I was in South Beach, and they were on the sidewalks everywhere. Not sure they'll work well over big distances in the suburbs because they didn't seem particularly fast and would stop if a human was nearby. Example: https://www.serverobotics.com/ |
| I have friends around the Research Triangle area who get deliveries via drone. They're obnoxious too. |
Clearly you aren't as upper class as you think you are if they can access your neighborhood. |
Aren’t you the one being racist blow your assumptions? |
| *with* your assumptions |
What drugs are you in? Can you tell me what neighborhoods in DC are NOT accessible to uber and door dash drivers? Last I checked that would be none. |
In DC, when walking past schizophrenic homeless guys yelling and flailing at passers-by, usually just minding ya business gets you left alone. I wonder if the same applies to delivery robots just minding their business. |
