Max Studio twill pants. They exist in various styles, so comfortable and light.

I have been tempted by the quince cotton gauze pants that just posted. I got cotton gauze pants last year from a pretty cheap vendor and they are so comfortable and don’t wrinkle like linen. I went back for more but they were sold out.

Everyone here hates culottes right? I got a pair from mm lafleur and they are really cool in the summer. I know they aren’t the most flattering but they are so comfortable I don’t care.

I can see the appeal but do others thing they are on the frumpy side? I think it's the taper.

They do look frumpy, especially on a non model. I am 5'4" and wear a size 2, so not big, and these make me look so wide. I prefer a straight or wide leg, and I think longer pants look more professional.

I’m fascinated that in the last five years, this style pants has become somewhat popular for young people, and then middle aged women have picked up the torch. They are made with synthetic fabrics, and while I appreciate today’s synthetics are popular and expensive and different, to a passing viewer they don’t look much different than cheap polys of the 1980s. And then the straight leg is just ….there. And most people wearing them aren’t skinny beautiful models, just regular women. The end result for me looks like what a low level office worker or a manager at target was wearing 20 years ago. Essentially cheap straight leg polyester pants. I don’t know how this has rebranded to UMC office wear.

Yup, they resemble the polyester pants from KMart or Sears of the 80's that clerical office women wore.

I mostly prefer linen but will wear cotton/poly blends.

I bought several pairs of the Brooklyn pants a while ago thinking they would make me look current and be comfortable to wear in my casual workplace. I wore them for a long car trip recently and stayed in a high-end hotel. When I saw myself in a mirror with my cotton sweater and these pants, I realized what some of the commenters were saying abut them looking like cheap poly pants were saying. Other women at the hotel were wearing cashmere sweaters, linen pants, etc. and my poly pants did look low rent. They are super comfy so I’ll wear them for WFH days and on weekends with athletic-type tops, but I think these are out for anything beyond that.

These are not soft like fleece or wool but they they are extremely lightweight. The fabric is from Japan.

They're also cut loose but that's good for hot humid weather.

I'm right on the border between fitting curvy pants and regular, and these look good on me also. Wore them recently on a day with highs in the 80s and was comfortable.

There are other colors that aren't final sale. I'm tempted to go back for more!
