| So many people taking the Ruti pants personally. |
Yup, they resemble the polyester pants from KMart or Sears of the 80's that clerical office women wore. I mostly prefer linen but will wear cotton/poly blends. |
| Embrace the linen. |

| Quince makes an Athleta dupe that I love. Performance tech pants. Looks like they only have them in black now. They had other colors last spring, maybe they will bring back more. |
I’m the pp you’re responding to and tbh it’s not the synthetic ness that bothers me about the pants, by itself. I actually think a lot of today’s synthetics has remarkable staying power and can look “new” for years longer than cotton. What looks dumb about these pants is that, historically, a straight leg polyester pants with no obvious style factor….was the opposite of stylish. As another poster said, this was low level sears poor person wear. I don’t understand the rebranding to UMC. |

Another recommendation for the Maeve pants!
Also lol at those pants that make everyone look bow legged. WOW. |

These are my new favorite lightweight, comfortable pants:

I have Maeve pants. The color fades and they look terrible. Also they’re very high wasted…if you have a tummy they make you look pregnant |
Do these runs TTS or small? I'm 5'6 and want them to hit at the ankle, so I'm not sure about sizing. |
I’m 5”5 and the R length is perfect length. Would recommend the same for you. TTS. |
| I just got some great wide leg linen like pants at old Navy. |
The Ruti pants are FUGLY. |
I wore them to work yesterday with a silk camisole, a cropped blazer, and ballet flats. I am an attorney and work in senior leadership on a nonprofit. They are perfectly appropriate for my work. |
To show how easily their legs open. |
