lol says a man. you have NO idea what women go through on a constant basis. It becomes background noise, but the stress it takes on you is there just the same. How many times has the average man had his body grabbed or been flashed or intimidated by a stranger? That is one of a multitude of facets of life where women face overt and covert hostility.

Yeah, not even close.

The hate and disdain directed towards young men is almost scary due to how strong and irrational it is.

Read r/askmen, or really any part of Reddit, you’ll change your mind.

Because Reddit is real life. This country is doomed.

The men spouting off misogyny on Reddit really hold those views. And what’s worse, they vote. That is real enough to impact you, feminist or not.

At least some are in supervisory positions in the workplace or teaching in classrooms. Others are raising the young men that your daughters have to interact with.

Yes those are “normal” men, not even the redpill ones. Normal ones you interact with everyday.

There’s plenty of female generated content that sound similar. Those losers are not uniquely male.

I would have thought this forum is dominated by women and younger to middle aged women.

I am less concerned about silly banter on reddit than I am about the dangerously clueless and blind ideological outlook of progressive young women, refusing any kind of dialogue and angry intolerance of anyone disagreeing with their views. Good luck.

Young women are routinely portrayed as entitled, spoiled, selfish, or lazy, and are often blamed for nearly every problem in a relationship. The level of scrutiny and negativity is striking.
What’s particularly off-putting is that much of this criticism seems to come from middle-aged women who also describe themselves as feminists. Whats going on here? Why does DCUM hate young women?

I see it I think it's because they are a generation that sees what women have gone through including their own mothers. They are saying I'm going to take care of me and make sure I am with someone who respects me and my choices. there is hate for men and jealous older women on this.

Coming from the patriarch and women who submit to it YES! I see it.

Al women should be voting to keep choice for other women. If you are religious ad want to submit to a man and raise babies-do that you have the choice. Want to be a high powered attorney-do that this is what so many women fought for our choice and our RIGHT TO VOTE!!!! Don't take that away from the next generation because you want to live the trad life. You do you let others do them.

I've always found it pretty funny that these same women are likely complaining about misogyny or bullying while also being vile to other posters on here.

I'm 43 and agree, it's all women. I think the worst of it is towards older women/boomers/MIL if anything.

Stop thinking in terms of groups. Not all people in a group are the same.

A small violin played by a small minded person.

Hahahaha this forum, if anything, is relentlessly misandrist.

You are dumb. I’m a millennial and have been on this site since 2020. I don’t see bias against young women at all. A lot of hate is directed toward working women/MILs/buying new cars (“we run our cars to the ground” is a very popular phrase on here).

Oh, absolutely. And second only to the misandry is the derision for older women.

One could say the exact same thing about women after reading this dcum forum. Including innocuous topics like the food boards through threads like this one.

So?

Women can be misogynistic too.
