Why is there so much hate for the south here?

But I choose to live in an area where the majority of people don't vote for MAGA values. For a reason. You are willing to overlook it, which is fine, but don't be surprised if people judge you for it.

I grew up down South, am Black and I prefer it here except for the weather. I hate the snow and ice and cold. Hate it. This time of year is the only time I get nostalgic about back home and start thinking maybe I will move on back.

I lived in “the south” for a few years. I agree the people are very kind and have that southern charm and hospitality.

But don’t ever, ever, ever talk about race or religion with them!
