Yes the pendulum will swing back hard. Look at history, what gave FDR the mandate to usher in the New Deal and human rights protections was the appalling income inequality and suffering of the majority of the country. The GOP is basically recreating at a speed far faster destroying so many peoples lives. The GOP is taking away jobs, healthcare, food, education, safety and security…all for the benefit of 1% of the country. They got the chance to do this thanks to misinformation, Facebook, Twitter, etc but when your loved one dies of untreated cancer, when you are unemployed, when your kids are hungry and when young adults have no hope what you see on TikTok or Facebook doesn’t matter.
