Will the pendulum swing?

Obama was about as centrist and middle of the road as you can get. Even his signature health care plan was a Republican plan - back in the day when Republicans still cared about health care. Obama was an extremely successful two term president because he was pragmatic, was guided by common sense, and was a fundamentally decent and empathetic person.

If Democrats could get back to that, they’d win forever. But the Mamdanis and Charles Allen types are the core of the Democratic Party today. And that’s not winning national elections. People really hate the soft on crime, endless illegal immigration, and race based hiring that this generation of Democrats espouse.

Democrats have a policy problem. The Biden years were a disaster for Democrats. And until that gets sorted out, they’re going to have to tough time in national elections - especially once Trump is gone.

I don’t think you understand how much a black president messed up the nation’s psyche. All the decorum goes and anything is possible after that.

No, people grew fatigued and resentful for being called a racist because they didn't agree with some of the presidential ideas. Everything was labeled a racist attack if you disagreed with Obama.

Posting this opinion will get me attacked as a racist, which in this day and age carries no meaning anymore.

Obama was a good leader and a solid two term POTUS. We are in the midst of a 12 year run being led by 8 years of the worst POTUS ever and 4 years of the second worst POTUS ever and your sorry racist 80 IQ arse wants to blame the "black" president???? Go jump off of a cliff, moron.

Other than your juvenile insults, you haven’t proven me wrong at all.

Umkay, buddy.... how do I even start to counter your belief that the mess we are in has nothing to do with the two elderly unfit white guys and everything to do with the color of Obama's skin. You aren't worth the time.

Well, you’re wrong.
Obama was the beginning of downward spiral, then came millions of brown people and here we are.

You're a real smart one....

That’s probably true

DP. I don't think many here would call you racist, but they will - rightfully - call you dumber than a box of rocks.

You don't think MAGA is social engineering? Would you like to buy a bridge?

Please. None other than John McCain corrected a voter who made a racist attack against Obama. McCain obviously disagreed with Obama a lot and did so without being racist.

I am surprised that Republicans are now openly endorsing Nazis and Hitler, yes.

Fellas, is it social engineering when people have rights? Or is it social engineering when we try deporting anyone darker than my khakis?

In 1964 Barry Goldwater won 52 electoral votes and the Wall Street Journal, NY Times, and other major newspapers ran editorials lamenting the death of the Republican party. The two party system is alive and well.

That’s because they don’t want to go back to the forced tiptoeing.

+1

I was an Obama critic simply due to the fact that HRC was more prepared to run the country in 2008 but it certainly never had anything to do with the color of his skin nor was I accused of being racist for being critical of him for justified reasons.

With the above being said; Obama's leadership would be very, very welcomed by most Americans now after 8 years of the elderly fools who have embarrassed the POTUS office and the country.

Yawn. You have made calling people racist, nazis, and Hitler so commonplace that no one listens anymore.
