What careers making 100,000 + as a new grad would you recommond for my daughter

Actually not true. My friend is an actuary and at their firm they have a hard time finding people who can work with others. So yes, you need some basic social skills.

Lots of math, good social skills, the ability to communicate well and you are golden. But she has to be really analytical and like it.

Where are they looking for those people?

We hire 4-5 per year, usually from our summer interns pool, and they are awesome. Green, yes, but the social skills are fine.

Clients, old and young, come to them for the fun. The space is literally a playground for all.

Palantir is destructive and gross. I definitely wouldn’t announce this at parties.

It’s not Palantir lol. If I told you what it is you’d say, oh that’s a really cool job. It’s a niche but lucrative market and requires specialized knowledge.

Seriously. I know she doesn't want nursing but you'll never make $100k out of school as a nurse either. More like $70k.

No way. As a single new grad she would be a travel nurse and make over 100k easily. Especially if she works overtime and takes hard to fill jobs (Alaska comes to mind..). Just saying. It’s a great way to build a nest egg before you get married, have kids, need good insurance

Clearly you're not a nurse because if you were you would know that you can't do travel nursing straight out of school. The whole idea is that hospitals don't want to spend any time training travel nurses-they're experienced nurses who come ready to fill a staffing need on the spot.

No company is offering a 21 year old with a bachelors degree $100,000 for anything else.
