I would absolutely encourage him to go. And I'd scope out (with him) what the plan would be if he had to get home suddenly, who your emergency support team is if needed, etc...
But if you're having a healthy pregnancy, then 32 weeks is plenty early enough (IMO) to be fine w/ him going. I love how you're both approaching it. Bodes very well for parenting! |

| If it's a trip to Alaska, make sure he will be reachable in case of emergency--he should have something like a Garmin in reach. |
