Just caught my kid reading Charlie Kirk

Your freshman son's dive into Charlie Kirk isn't a shock; it's a sign of awakening. Instead of being dismayed, celebrate his critical thinking and engage with his college alternatives—trade schools, entrepreneurship, or even starting a movement.

Several of my family members attended Ivies as full-pay, majored in social studies and graduated with 300K of student loans. They are social workers and are on a income payment plan.

College is not for everyone.

They are on an income payment program and after 10 years of working as a social order their federal loans are forgiven.

Also most states have loan forgiveness programs most about $50,000 after two years of working.

They won’t be paying back $300,000 and I’m sure they were aware of the loan forgiveness programs before they gr

Recognize that he's a child and is still easily impressionable? Right wing content is very easy to digest and propaganda is propaganda. If the boy is intelligent, he is well-served by college.

Also, the trades blow. I don't know what mistranslation happened between millennials and gen-z where people stopped listening and watching their broken, blue collar parents who struggle to move because of years of actual labor, but it really is an infection on our society to delegitimize getting higher education.

The daily parade of incompetence and stupidity of this administration would suggest otherwise.

Charlie Kirk is a smug pr!ck brimming with unmerited confidence.

Not surprising since his brain is not fully developed yet. Make sure he gets information from diferent sources.

Charlie Kirk is incredibly influential in MAGA world. If you don’t listen to him at least some of the time you’re going to have no clue about what’s going on in politics and what ideas and talking points are influencing many people, especially younger people.

Whose plan? Yours? Is he not allowed to question your plans?

And frankly the more I listen to him, the more I do too.

Why? Do you think a Venezhaitian ate your neighbor's cat?

Because that's who Charlie Kirk is speaking to.

Honestly because he speaks to teens and young adults where they are. His “change my mind” sessions on college campuses around the country are wildly popular. He is bringing thousands of Gen z kids - boys and girls- to conservative ways of thinking.

No he’s preying on their fears and anxieties to make a buck.

He is CREATING fears and anxieties to make a buck.

Is Kirk wrong? Why can't all young Americans become successful social media charlatan influencers? It's a financially rewarding career path.

I didn’t realize he was a Democrat.

Typical red herring fallacy arguments. Attack the person, not the argument. Perhaps if people saw more sides of an argument and worked to determine the worth of each one as opposed to seeking out only that information which reinforces one's own biases, the world would be less combative...

Says someone who’s never seen Charlie Kirk debate, and refuse to debate others he’s scared of. 🙄

Nothing wrong with the trades, but save lots of $$$ when young because the body starts to go out in midlife. Brother dealing with this.
