And yet all you have to do is volunteer yourself! Teams can have 2 team managers. I don't think you realize just how much work is involved in being a team manager...trust me, if you volunteer, your current TM will likely be very grateful.

Seriously. It's so comical to see all these keyboard warriors tearing down the efforts of volunteers when you haven't lifted a finger to help yourself. Sure there are bad TMs who take advantage. There are also bad team parents who do the same thing.

They have to blame someone for every hiccup and problem they and their player have throughout the season. They obviously are not the problem the volunteer parent is.

So you're willing to step up, right?

WTF males are incompetent like asking them to clean the house

TM duties on top of running a family and FT job is a lot of work. Many have no idea or appreciate the work that goes into being a TM. Every parent should give it a try for 1 year and see. Worst part is trying to collect team fees. Hate it when parents won’t pay up like everyone else.

I did it for a year and would not do it again unless they begged.

Knock yourselves out, y'all.

I think this is all really dependent on the club you're at. Most of the time I rarely see instances of parent TM's on high level club teams, the club will handle managing the team, but there will be parent involvement related to fundraising, etc.
