Did SYC sneak some MLS next players down onto their MLS 2 roster for the tournament? They did for the earlier round games.

There appear to be boys in that picture and their other State tournament photo who don't appear on any of their other team pictures for other tournaments on Social Media. I'm not Sherlock Holmes, but....

I don't even live here and I think it's pretty easy to see. Big population center that cares about soccer. Lots of younger siblings/overly privately trained younger kids all wanting to play in the same environment. Falls off when everyone else develops.

-You're not wrong. Also, they have unofficial feeder clubs with LMVSC, Gunston, St James, BRYC, PWSI and a few others. Also, we just had a MUFC kid out.
-There is also a lot of complimentary soccer training in this area, False8, FC Training, HP Elite, private training... the indoor sportsplex, & RAMP ect.
-And talent used to leave SYC, but now with the 2012 groups and younger, the more talented kids are staying for MLSNext I, MLS Next II, GA and GA Aspire. (Whereas with 2011 and older, they used to leave SYC...but not so much now and now they have a talent inflow.)

As it stands now, unless they shoot themselves in the foot somehow, SYC should continue to dominate from 2012-2016 u-little groups.

Doesn’t sound like there was much domination at state cup today.

A glitch anybody know how PWSI u12 beat SYC power house

PWSI has giant forward no kid can handle

Haha. They steal THE PLAYBOOK from SYC? That’s awesome.

Arlington strenght showing up

Out of 8 potential call-outs, I only see Arlington listed once. That’s not very strong.

Is there a U13 boys winner? Let me guess, not Arlington?

True .. we were watching as our DC had the next game. Congrats to SYC, but they shouldn't have even been there. They should be sending the ref a great big thank you.

The roster's are locked, that would be hard to do since Both tTeam 1 and team 2 are playing.

...but you're seriously spending too much time on this. Rosters are locked early on, you can't sneak kids onto a team. Each player washes checked in a against an official roster where you cannot be listed twice. Get over it and get a life.

McLean was up 2-1 in second ot. The ref extended the 2nd Ot by about 8 minutes syc scored then he blew whistle to end the game 2-2 and head to pks. Supposedly in some other games refs weren’t giving injury time and there were complaints about that. Sounds like issue was some refs added injury time and other didn’t. I couldn’t find anything in the rules saying which one was right.

It is hard to tell when half the team all look alike with the same hair style.

Yes, they had three MLS Next 'future' players playing yesterday. Although, these 'future' players have played more than 12 games which makes them full time players? This is the only way that team can win. They played their regular roster at the Virginian tournament and couldn't win their bracket.
