I don't even live here and I think it's pretty easy to see. Big population center that cares about soccer. Lots of younger siblings/overly privately trained younger kids all wanting to play in the same environment. Falls off when everyone else develops.

-You're not wrong. Also, they have unofficial feeder clubs with LMVSC, Gunston, St James, BRYC, PWSI and a few others. Also, we just had a MUFC kid out.
-There is also a lot of complimentary soccer training in this area, False8, FC Training, HP Elite, private training... the indoor sportsplex, & RAMP ect.
-And talent used to leave SYC, but now with the 2012 groups and younger, the more talented kids are staying for MLSNext I, MLS Next II, GA and GA Aspire. (Whereas with 2011 and older, they used to leave SYC...but not so much now and now they have a talent inflow.)

As it stands now, unless they shoot themselves in the foot somehow, SYC should continue to dominate from 2012-2016 u-little groups.

Thanks, very helpful post (I was the prior poster). Curious to see how they do going forward - sounds a lot like SJEB girls around where I live.

It looks like first teams for U11 and U12 at least

Why weren’t the U11 and U12 Loudoun girls not in the State Cup?

Worry about yourself.

They were probably not in the state cup because all their players are at revolution now.

And believe me… no one is worried about you.

No top kids from Loudoun’s U11–U12 teams left for Rev. If anything, I only know of a kid who went the other way—from Rev to Loudoun. Let’s not make up stories.

They just don’t want to do State Cup that’s all. No need to twist it into something it’s not.

Doesn’t sound like there was much domination at state cup today.

Results are online. U11 boys final is SYC x Arlington both won their semis in dramatic OT and PKs.

U12 PWSI upset SYC 4x2 and Valor beat Loundon 2x1 that was expected so Valor x PWSI final tomorrow
