Really? What ages?

SYC 2015G #1 in USA
SYC 2014G #1 in VA

Oh. You’re talking about a 7v7 team and 9v9 team. Should’ve known.

😂 😂

How are clubs supposed to boast they are state champs if there can only be one??? It's basically the same question as why do teams go to small town tournaments to obliterate the competition they have no business playing? Wins. Keeps crazy parents happy and paying .

I thought this weekend was a really fun tournament and well run. It was great seeing all our clubs teams in one location. Got to watch friends play. Didn’t advance but the better team did.

And this is where for all the hate "rankings" get, they're a valuable tool. My daughter's team has played a top 20 in the US strength of schedule and sitting at right about .500 on the year. She's U12 pre-ECNL so wins/losses really shouldn't matter now, but we can be sure she's going up against top notch competition. I like they're not beating up on low level teams and always playing in tough brackets/flights.

Forgot to point out - the rankings app, not gotsoccer. Please never use gotsoccer to "rank" anything hah.

more like 2/3 going to NVA/Loudoun. 1/3 is going FVU. Coach is going to FVU

Fun Fact: More Valor players than Loudoun player at NVA next year. Rests are Bethesda players.

That is quite shocking. Usually Valor gets maybe one kid on an NVA team. Maybe the strongest local players are going to MLS Next teams instead of ECNL.

Isn’t NVA MLS Next? Anyway the Valor boys are better than Loudoun in that age group. Ironic that NVA dropped Valor but now there will be a bunch of Valor boys at NVA. I think that’s the only age group where that will be the case. Valor 2013 boys is the only really strong team at that club.
