George Clooney discloses he and his wife live 'seperate lives'

How George Clooney and Wife Amal Live ‘Separate Lives' While Staying Committed to Their Family

I did not see in the article where HE said that.

Where do they live?

It makes a lot of sense that she and the children would stay in the UK now. I suspect George will join them soon.

Does she have a personal army that she can deploy to uphold the judgements she obtains? Has she defeated Chinese humans rights violators?

What point are you making here? How is this responsive to the idea that her life work and her identity make the US potentially extremely unsafe for her and her children right now? Their dad is also a vocal critic of the government. They already had valid security concerns. That and the fact that she is a visiting professor at Oxford are much more likely explanations for basing in the UK right now than fantasies about him being gay.

The point I am making that practicing “human rights law” is a bunch of hype and that it sounds much more important than it is. She could use her time much more productively doing other things.

More productively than fighting to preserve human rights? Are you mad? I feel sorry for you.

Clooney’s job is much less of a contribution to humanity than her job. I respect her tremendously.

They each got what they wanted. He can pretend he's not gay. She now has 2 kids to check off her accomplishments list.

Once a truly career focused woman, always a career focused woman. Just wish they had not selfishly had kids.

Do you say this about successful men? She has the same right to contribute to society as your father and grandfathers. Were they selfish for earning an income?

Let’s say you’re right. Why hasn’t one male companion or fling come forward in 60 years?

There have been allegations. One minor who made allegations ended up having a terrible accident.

Oh brother, so now you are accusing him of murder?

It could be that he has an interest in some other lover of any gender.
The truth is, I am not sure how she can even have a conversation with someone so insipid and uneducated.

Why do you think he's insipid and uneducated? Yes, I know he doesn't have formal education, but he never came across as particularly stupid. Although I will say I don't exactly follow him either.

He had a formal education including several years of college but didn’t graduate.

Exactly. These hags have no idea what they're talking about. I grew up in Cincinnati. Hid dad, Nick, was a beloved local broadcaster. George is well- versed on a number of issues. Some posters are so jealous that they need to tear anyone down.

Why the misogynistic language? So uncalled for.

Anonymous wrote:There was always something so shady about George, and his relationship with Amal alays seemed weird. I also found it funny that the media made it out to be "OMG, lucky Amal, what a fairytale!" When George was like 50+, way older than her, looking pretty haggard compared to his youth, and she was a successful lawyer in London. The whole thing was just very strange and off to me, like a PR stunt

Agree.

That plus his non stop political endorsements make one wonder what they have on him.

I guess if he had married a bimbo/starlet that would not have been suspicious.

That says so much about what you think that women can bring to the table.

What would the motivation be for a wealthy, successful actor to pretend he is heterosexual in 2025??

This article seems like it’s making a big deal out of maybe not very much? I think Amal has been in NYC supporting George recently? Did she not attend opening night?

Maybe there was some security concern or maybe there was some fight. But she has been in NYC according to this other article with photos etc. https://www.hola.com/us/fashion/20250416826967/amal-clooney-latest-looks-nyc/

I don't understand the relationships where the two people have to be glued together 24/7. For me, it is much more normal that one person pursues their interests - which may take them away for a time - and then they come back together. My friends who can't spend a night away from their husbands - to me, that is weird.

This March article sounds like things are pretty okay. https://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/inside-george-and-amal-clooneys-new-york-city-era-with-twins/

Maybe one tabloid from this post is just blowing things out of proportion.

No she didn't not attend the premiere. They most likely did have a fight or something of the sorts and she decided not to give. There were plenty of celebs there so I doubt it's a security concern.
