I remember watching this at the time and thinking it was funny. They seemed okay about it. I thought this was kinder to George than the Tina Fey/Amy Poehler bit about his Gravity role reflecting “how George Clooney would rather float away into space and die than spend one more minute with a woman his own age” tbh.

So funny. If the Tina & Amy show comes this way, I'm going. I really like them.

She and the kids moved to NYC to be near him while he did this! This is not a big deal, guys. If they were in trouble, for sure, it would have been far easier for her and the kids to stay settled where they were while he is doing this for 6 months. But they moved, sheesh.

People are weird, like make up stuff about famous people to make themselves feel better I guess? Sad.

The pre-show and red carpet premiere are not comparable.

She saw the play several times before the premiere. She’s been to lots of his film premieres already. It might not be the most exciting thing for her after premier #14 when they’ve got kids. I applaud her.

Yeah, fewer cameras at the previews, which is maybe what she preferred.

It is not some start up. It is human rights for God’s sake.

Any good lawyer will tell you there are no rights without law and there are no laws without entities empowered to issue them. The supposed “laws” in this space are as meaningless as a child’s aspiration for a pony.

Eh, I dunno, there's very much still an international system revolving around human rights claims. The U.S. is just less of a part of it than ever -- and we were never really a part of it. All those do-goody tribunals in the Hague and stuff will still exist.

In other words, you have no real basis for making statements about her job or life, just wild ideas and speculation originating from your own imagination. Blah blah blah.

Who did she date before Clooney? She was like 37 when they met? A bit odd she wasn’t already married once. And what proof is there she was this alleged high powered lawyer? Aside from gossip rags once she began dating him.

Her being a single hot shot international lawyer with hot model looks and no previous baggage was probably why he picked her in first place.
