Independent voter here. I don’t think it’s anger, exactly. More like slack-jawed bewilderment at the epic stupidity and waste. Kind of like being on the deck of the Titanic, just after the captain slammed full steam into the iceberg? Like, “Oh. Well, that was a historically dumb move. I guess this is what it’s like to be on a sinking ship.”
