Yeah, but Vance is 2x worse than Trump and very young.

I don't think he is. He doesn't have the cult of personality. No one is going to be willing to die or go to jail for JD Vance.

This! Most people in Trumps orbit have no chance at power with out riding the coat tails of his personality.

There's zero chance Trump is going to hand over the reins of power to Vance--assuming Trump ever leaves. Trump will choose who succeeds him.

Little beta Donald can SAY what he wants. That won’t change what I DO. All of us have agency. We don’t need to freak out about his words, use your energy to call your reps and demand they use all their powers to stop this.
Here are actions you can take:
https://indivisible.org/coup
5calls.org

Call EVERY SINGLE DAY. call both DC offices and local. If DC res, call Schumer and tell Norton to pass message on to peers.

Don’t fall into the cynical trap that “nothing matters”. It matters. It takes one minute per call. There’s ZERO excuse for not doing this. You don’t get to b itch and moan or curl up in a ball and cry. No one’s asking you to walk over the bridge in Selma and get clubbed by cops. I’m just asking you to pick up the GD phone.

And if you really want to have an impact, volunteer for one of the special elections in Florida or soon to be New York. And again, don’t give me “This seat is impossible to flip” Nothing is impossible, nothing..

In addition to indivisible.org and 5calls.org, there is also swingleft.org (https://swingleft.org), which provides grassroots support to candidates in swing districts.

I think that is true, to a degree. I know a lot of people who voted for Trump who aren't MAGA, including myself. I find MAGAs disgusting.

And you are equally as disgusting and corrupt as the POS you voted for.

+1 It’s almost worse. Not being completely brain washed and still justifying voting for this man. Why?

Because your candidate was worse. Do better next time. It says more about your candidate that Trump was a better option. Hopefully that sinks in.

You only think this, because you are a fool. No one with any critical thinking skills would think Trump is a better option than Harris. The man is a deranged narcissist who lies constantly.

Keep calling us names, and telling us how stupid we are, see how that works out for you. Harris was pushed on us after you couldn’t hide Biden decline. Put up someone better next time.

And based on the 3 responses to my post, it will never sink in. You’ll lose again and wonder why.

DP but I am tired of being nice to you morons and politely pretending that you’re not stupid. The fact is, you and your ilk ARE stupid. The evidence is your slobbering support for the fascist takeover of our Democracy, which you are incapable of recognizing because you couldn’t be bothered to pay even the least bit of attention way back when you were provided with a free education.

OMG. Here we go again. Keep FAFO again in 2028. You come off like a version of Trump that you supposedly detest.

In no way was Harris "worse".

Own your choice. YOU chose Trump. That is 100% on you. Don't blame anyone else for putting us in this situation.

NP. I supported Harris. I have been frustrated that Dems routinely shut people out, called them MAGA and worse when they clearly were not. Some of us tried warning the parties bullies but they would not listen because they know all. It is not surprising that people turned to Trump not because they liked him, but because they felt stabbed in the back by their own. Shame on you!

Shame on you. You own your choice. Anyone who was "turned away" owns their choice. They ate their own for a crimial. THAT is shameful.

So, the people standing up to the illegal things this administration is doing are saving the country and not violating any law. Good to know Trump agrees.

Point taken. But the counterpoint is that all of the people who felt this way are about to get stabbed in the back by the “better” choice. The whole country will get screwed by Trump. So, congrats?

So you voted for Trump knowing he was going to be a dictator on day one, and you claim to despise the MAGAs? I don't get it.

Why do you think because I despise MAGA that I love the left? They're worse.

is the “left” trying to burn down democracy?

They're doing nothing to prevent it, but ignoring demands from voters to execute the basic and Constitutional functions of the federal government.

But by engaging in lawfare against a man we all knew was popular with energetic voters who believed Trump was being treated unfairly, the left used their power to get this man elected. The left has obviously learned nothing from history.

So, popular people should be above the law? This is the man that was willing to let his loyal VP die by mob.

Most of us are busy working and don’t have the time for this BS. Maybe if you did the same, you’d be in a better place.

There’s the liberal name calling we know and love. As posted, I don’t like Trump, but your option was worse. Instead of telling us it wasn’t, and telling us how we are stupid, figure out why so many others felt this way. There are plenty of wealthy, educated people that voted for Trump because Biden/Harris was not an option. Listen

Well, since we're so stupid, tell us why. And remember, Biden was not the candidate in the end, Harris was, so don't muddy the waters.

I suspect the reason was sexism/ racism against Harris, and you just don't want to admit it.

It is the only silver lining in this mess. It what gives me hope because he is old, unhealthy and there is NO ONE ELSE in the Republican Party as charismatic (to his base he can do no wrong!) as him.

His charisma can’t even translate in votes for the candidates he supports, endorses or campaigns for, only for himself.

I don’t understand why Republicans in Congress are so scared of him.
