I think that is true, to a degree. I know a lot of people who voted for Trump who aren't MAGA, including myself. I find MAGAs disgusting.

Um? What?

WASHINGTON, Feb 15 (Reuters) - Echoing France's Napoleon Bonaparte, U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday took to social media to signal continued resistance to limits on his executive authority in the face of multiple legal challenges.

"He who saves his Country does not violate any Law," Trump, a Republican, proclaimed on his Truth Social network. The White House did not respond to a request for more details.

The phrase, attributed to the French military leader who created the Napoleonic Code of civil law in 1804 before declaring himself emperor, drew immediate criticism from Democrats.

Who do you think told him to write that? There's no way Trump read enough to learn that sentence.

Someone is feeding this to him. Trump has extremely limited knowledge of American history and no knowledge of French or world history!

Trump isn’t even all there mentally anymore. He just sits there like a log while Elmo runs the show.

So you voted for Trump knowing he was going to be a dictator on day one, and you claim to despise the MAGAs? I don't get it.

And you are equally as disgusting and corrupt as the POS you voted for.

+1 It’s almost worse. Not being completely brain washed and still justifying voting for this man. Why?

This is also a statement of encouragement to the Oath Keepers, the 3%ers and any of the other paramilitary group that acting outside of the law "for your country" is encouraged.

Yeah, but Vance is 2x worse than Trump and very young.

I don't think he is. He doesn't have the cult of personality. No one is going to be willing to die or go to jail for JD Vance.

Neither did Maduro when Chavez died, but it’s hard to dislodge someone determined to remain in power.

We have a more enduring, stronger system of democracy than Venezuela. Stop pretending they won already. Preliminary surrender is weak.

Yeah this makes no sense. Did you think he wasn’t going to follow through on all of his campaign promises? So you voted for a liar? Or do you just not care because you that selfish?

Why do you think because I despise MAGA that I love the left? They're worse.
