Do you care to share how your child did or raw score or grade percentile?

Sure. Raw score verbal 34/36, 99th percentile. Raw score quantitative 44/50, 98th percentile. Raw school nonverbal 48/52, 99th percentile.

That looks like great score. I assume you also received the in pool email. It came around 5pm today for me

It’s not by school. It’s from the central AAP office. If you haven’t received an email it likely isn’t coming.

We received the in pool email from AAP around 5pm.

No CogAT scores posted to parentvue or in my kids backpack 🤦‍♀️

Only families whose kid is in-pool will have received an email from the AAP office. They were all sent out at 5pm. It’s almost 8pm. If you have not received an email, your child is not in-pool.

So what are the chances of getting into AAP if your child is not “in pool”?

Did your child bring this score home in an envelope?

Really surprised cogat scores are not posted on parentvue yet.

We get flyers and folders on Wed so maybe we will receive tomorrow..

Being in-pool confers no advantage in getting into AAP.

What percentage of kids who end up in AAP in 3rd grade were not in pool?

I don’t think this is true. Test scores definitely matter. Granted it is not the only factor but more kids who scored 99th percentile get into AAP than not.
