Exactly. And when the Biden/Harris administration is clearly sympathetic to illegal immigrants, it's obvious that a Harris/Walz administration will only continue these horrible policies. I have no doubt that Harris will give amnesty to the millions already in the country. But hey, "Joy!!" 🤮 |
You are so brainwashed. |
DP. Anyone who has witnessed the outrageous wave of illegal immigration during the Biden/Harris administration is not brainwashed. OTC, you are gaslighting, yet again. Exactly what will Harris do to take the border *seriously*? |
I don't see that at all. It says 84% are Hispanic, and I see that it's 93% low income, but I don't see that data about ELL. The reviews are glowing and they make it sound like a nice community. |
Are you just implying that all Hispanics are ELL? Again, good reviews. The one poor one says that principal is good and the teachers are decent, but the admin is terrible. Is this some gotcha posting, and if not, where is your bad review of the school? |
My point is it's been under both GOP and Dem leaders, but yet, only Dems seem to be blamed for the problem. So, it hasn't been solved in 45 years? Do you really want deportation camps in the US? |
"outrageous"

Sooo...Trump didn't do much to stop the flow of undocumented workers. Curious indeed. I'm sure the extra staff was welcome at Mar-a-lago to help all the SS there and at his DC hotel to entertain all the foreign dignitaries. They also paid income tax, but Trump didn't. Maddening. |

Salisbury MD Haitian illegals--estimated to be around 7,000 now and hundreds more coming in
https://www.wboc.com/news/salisbury-sees-increase-in-haitian-immigration-amid-unrest-in-haiti/article_ae060872-0cb0-11ef-ae15-f3b119173300.html Definitely taking housing from African Americans and poor white families Schools that have always been poor are struggling. Some grades are getting 30 new illegal Haitian kids per grade a week. A illegal Haitian woman who has a baby in Salisbury is provided with housing pretty quickly. Yet working local folks really struggle to find housing. Two of my workers, both American women with children cannot find housing. One is African American woman with 3 children and one is white woman looking for housing for 8. (Grandma, husband, wife, 4 kids and brother) All adults are working 1-2 jobs. Taking jobs from African Americans and poor whites. You really see this at Tidal Health (the hospital) Salisbury has historically been a town of farmers, watermen, and factory workers. It is becoming little Port-au-Prince. |
| A lot of people are noting they feel it is a problem, but I have yet to read anything that Trump will do to solve it. He was not very effective last time. |
He is very good at making people feel very anxious or even afraid about the issue. He is not the guy for solutions. |
It's almost a self-fulfilling prophecy, unfortunately. He makes the country so uninviting if he wins that fewer people will decide to migrate here. |
only 35% of US adults are college educated, that means 65% or not. so Biden gives a handout to a small subset of the population and then these same urban elite wonder why people are voting for Trump. Contempt One of the main things that I hear from my fellow tradesmen is how the elite and white-collar professional class don't care about or respect the blue collar working class. This disrespect comes out in many ways, big and small. But you can hear it a lot in the political rhetoric coming out of the progressive side these days. It was there in the COVID conversation, how work-from-home white collar folks pushed for endless lockdowns and vaccine mandates, to be imposed on the working class whose labor they relied on to stay home. It's there in the way they talk about a universal basic income instead of high-paying trade jobs, and in the way they push for low-wage green jobs instead of union energy jobs. But you can really see it in how they talk about college. Take the latest issue that progressives are pushing the Biden administration on—student loan cancelation. They want us taxpayers to pay off the student loans of the college educated, who on average make more money than those without a degree, and for whom the economy recovered almost immediately post-COVID. Then they have the audacity to tell us that it will help blue collar workers. They want us to enthusiastically agree to pay off their student loan debt, and then have the nerve to tell us it's in our interest as Americans. That's what I mean about disrespect. And it pervades the entire conversation about college in America today. https://www.newsweek.com/divide-isnt-right-v-left-its-us-blue-collar-workers-fighting-elite-contempt-opinion-1706053 |

Because they have real impacts. Just look at the DMV. They raised our property taxes because the schools yet again cried about lack of funding and overcrowding. Yeah, no S schools are overcrowded when this idiot sanctuary county rolls out the carpet for mass illegal immigration. They also consume massive amounts of intensive resources because now they require all sorts of ESL staff since they barely speak English. They also need to be taught tons and tons of remedial work since they're from countries with barely functional education systems, which drags down overall quality for all students and costs tons of more money. Tests scores continue to decline in our public schools as more and more people from 3rd world poverty flood into the county.
Next, they also now whine about lack of affordable housing. Yeah, well duh, of course you have less available affordable housing units when massive stocks are rented out to boatloads of illegal immigrants. Every single apartment complex near us with cheaper rentals is overwhelmingly filled with illegal immigrants. Every single unit they occupy is a unit not available for a US citizen. What'd the county expect when they invite in a million illegal immigrants? They have to live and be housed somewhere, duh! So what are liberals' solution now? They cry about affordable housing, so their solution is to now upzone all of our nice neighborhoods. They want to tear down homes and build apartment complexes in the middle of your neighborhood. Basically, our citizens have to upend our way of life and pay more for the privilege of it, and all because massive amounts of illegal immigration is straining the entire county from educational resources, to housing, to the county budget. Open borders under Harris Biden have been a disaster. |
You are wrong. We can import millions of people and it will have NO impact on housing and will INCREASE the number of jobs for US citizens. this is fact because WAPO and many economists have said so. i dont understand it, i thought supply and demand was a real thing but apparently it is a myth and you my friend are a RACIST! |
