Why are many conservatives fixated on vaccine mandates?

So basically this poster became a conservative because they're too much of a wimp to get a safe and effective vaccine.

And to much if a whiner to accept that if they do refuse the protections of vaccine programs required by certain organizations, they may no longer be welcome by those organizations.

So you have the right to send your sick kid to school and get everyone else's kid sick? the teachers sick and the teachers families sick?

Sound lovely.

I remember Joe Biden telling us if you get the shot, you can't get covid. Well, wasn't quite true now was it.

Then progressives said (because they love this force schit): if you don't get the shot, you're putting others at risk, even though they are vaccinated.

Bottom line: we had many people that were too heavy, and that turned out to be the real killer, but progressives again worked to kill that message because of "body shaming" and damaging people's egos.

Meanwhile, we have Joe Biden texting that Trump should resign because the death count rockets past a quarter of a million.

Biden gets in, Covid mutates and he isn't ready to deal with it. He states.... "who could have possibly seen the virus mutating". Plus, the Biden drops the ball on Covid testing kits being several weeks late.

Then, the Covid death count rockets past a million with Joe in office and nary a peep.

I know... you DNC lackeys want to forget history. WE DON'T.

And don't even try to rationalize the record............I don't want to hear your weasely excuses.

The shot doesn't prevent Covid, never has, never will. What it does do is limit the risk of hospitaliztion and curtails spread. If you took away anything beyond that in the messaging you recived, that is on you.

mmmmm what?

Do we really want to fact check presidents....lol

Joe shouldn't have said that. Trump.....well nothing he says is true

From the PP that posted this: "If you took away anything beyond that in the messaging you recived, that is on you."

Surprised you haven't got this. It's pretty basic. You know... nation of laws, not of men. Separation of Powers, Equal Protection, Private Property Rights, Due Process, Federalism, etc.

Liberals are all about state power over individuals. Conservatives are all about individual power over the state and not letting it get out of control, like it has today.

BTW, very few people were anti-vaccine until they started pushing mRNA vaccines rather than conventional recombinant and conjugate vaccines.

You're probably of this mondset that "newer is always better". Well, it isn't, especially when you're injecting things into people. Got it?

Finally, when I see MANDATES, I immediately want to fight them. If things are good, they'll sell themselves. If you have to have a bureaucrat standing over me, forcing me or threatening my livelihood to get what you want, then you have a fight on your hands.

That's where democrats fail. They lecture and cajole, but when people say no, then they move to coercion to get their way.

What is this about lecturing? And coercion.

Good Lord, you are so full of your own BS.

But this isn’t political for you at all. You are just deciding each thing on the merits, right?

I’m the PP and no I didn’t consider myself political at all before this. I still don’t like everything on the conservative side (I do support abortions until viability outside the womb) but I really hate someone telling me I need to inject something into my body and my kids’ bodies after they say that I won’t need to and we have proof that it doesn’t stop you getting the virus and it doesn’t stop you passing it on. It’s honestly insane and yes, quite obviously completely political.

I don’t believe you. Regardless, there was no nationwide vaccine mandate.

There were mandates for those of us who work for companies that do government projects. Everyone in our companies were required to get it, even if we weren’t working on those projects ourselves.

And you had the right to get a different job. If you chose to work for a company that had federal contracts, then they had to risk losing the work, or serving the terms of the contract. That isn't a mandate. No one tied you down and forced a needle in you.

Wow...after reading these quotes from 6 famous people, I've decided to become a conservative. Good job PP, all that time you spend posting memes on the Internet really does have an impact.

No, they were just part of the democrat's BS messaging to control people.

Sorry. Don't want to work with folks that are unvaxxed. This f..ing virus has sucked so much time energy and life out of us. If you can not even get a vaccine then stay far away from me and my family.

There is no way anyone could even try to have a rational conversation with you or help you understand history. Enjoy your time in imaginary grievance land.

Maybe because COVID is a virulent infectious disease and she want to try to have a safe environment for her workers. she also wants to have a safe environment for women to exercise their reproductive rights.

So "my body, my choice" is issue dependent. Like a policy, it applies. Don't like a policy, it doesn't apply.

So maybe you have trouble reading. If you don't want to get the vax, don't. That choice has consequences.
