I agree that there’s going to be a huge backlash from this, one way or the other. |
This is so xenophobic. I can’t believe Jeff has not deleted this disgusting thread. These are human beings we are talking about. |
| Well time to ship them up here from VA. NY is a sanctuary state so…here ya go |
Need to update PP's post to this...because yes, I agree that Biden and the entire Dem administration destroyed immigration. And we are not talking just "Mexico" -- it's not just Mexicans crossing illegally into the US anymore - because it's become so easy other nationalities have caught on and are coming in through our southern borders. Although not all...many are not like the immigrants from the 70s, 80s, or even 90s....who came here to work hard and make something of themselves. Now you arrive and you get free everything, including healthcare -- trust me I know. Now...I am first generation and my parents suffered and worked hard....but never once took a free handout, never went on welfare or medicaid. So when I see the overflow of immigrants/asylum seekers given free this and that...which for maybe the first 30 days in the country is fine....I'm sorry, call me cold hearted but that's gotta stop. |
Why can't Biden just grant them amnesty like Reagan? The GOP loves Reagan so amnesty must be a good solution. |
They can be human beings in their own country then. The reality is the US doesn’t have the resources and the time to be a welfare state for the world. I hope Trump is elected and he closes the border for a year or two so we can fix this mess created by the Harris regime |
Most moonbats have black and white thinking and can’t see the bigger picture. Conservatives like Reagan but don’t have to like everything he did. They hammer him in that decision now and they did back then. They should be deported as far as I’m concerned |

I'm the daughter of immigrants and pro legal immigration.
However, I think this is a disaster of an issue currently in the US. Biden did not even manage it - he just ignored it basically. This is a very practical impactful issue that GOP will have a field day with v the Dems. Even as someone who feels sorry for the immigrants and believes in taking care of them, who feels immigration makes the US stronger, I think that there needs to be a better policy in place than the current version. I don't know what the answer is but I know shipping them to sanctuary cities is not it. I think Biden turned on the faucet when he should have let it drip - not completely shut it off like Trump but now he has to either completely shut it off or continue to let it flow, both decisions are terrible. He failed entirely over this one. |
That's not the point. The point is it's a lot of money to shell out on this matter. It's not like NYC doesn't have use for money - they are not an ATM. You don't think they don't have problems that need money to fix? why don't you take a couple hundred or $50 out of your wallet and just give it to a panhandler. Hey - it's only $50. I'm sure you have thousands in your bank account. You won't miss $50 or $200 in the long run right???!! |
Just because they are human beings , it does not mean we cannot talk about them. |
Bush also gave them amnesty. Point being: Those Rs realized that the cat was out of the bag, and the best you could do was manage it by letting them stay, get jobs and pay taxes. This has been stated numerous times: these people come here because they know that people will give them jobs. Let's remember that business owners and executives tend to lean right. Even Trump's hotels use illegal immigrant labor. And they do so because the consequence for hiring illegal immigrants is not enough of a deterrent. It's just a slap on the wrist. Kill the demand, and you will kill the supply. |

I have been wondering do they still allow Those claiming asylum at the border who are El Salvadoran to make that claim and come unit he US
Because they can’t use fear of crime or being a victim of crime as their president had been boasting for the past year or two that he has all the criminals locked up in a super prison and the media is talking about their crime rate being lower than in some US cities |
Most come here for jobs, period. They don't want to live in shelters forever. They want jobs. https://www.cbsnews.com/boston/news/massachusetts-migrants-work-authorization-jobs/
Don't tell me that there are tons of real Americans waiting in line to work with disabled people for minimum pay. And before you say, well they should pay more then real Americans would want those jobs -- those centers are largely run by NGO with grants from the government. So, if you want to raise taxes so that real Americans can get those wonderful jobs helping disabled people, then vote D. |
| After a few years the immigrants will realize IS not all they thought. There's a number of legal immigrants who end up leaving after a some time living here. |
