Why Snoop Dogg?

Snoop and Ryan Reynolds have got some good PR people.

Why Ryan Reynolds?

The real question is how high is he?

Now I've decided that because all the individual events are covered on Peacock, the primetime coverage on NBC is meant to be mostly entertainment and color commentary. If you want to watch the actual sports you need to go to Peacock.

Garten visits cafes and bakeries such as a 100 year old bakery with its underground stove, buys baguette and cheese for nbc anchors to eat. Important stuff.

He needs a job.
NBC has him on new season of Voice, now Olympics. Please don't bring him in for election season, NBC!

Sounds like he has a job. And it's better than yours.

Post like these are why I hate the internet. Gormless.

I'm sorry I'm not speaking with the right amount of sophistication while discussing Snoop Dogg. Anyway, I hate the internet because it gave humorless nerds an overinflated sense of self.

The problem with your post is not lack of sophistication but:

-Presence of name calling
-Assumption that a poster does not have a better job than Snoop, whatever that means (poster could be a Senator for all we'd know)--how are you going to throw this type of insult around when you have no idea who the poster is? Makes no sense? And again, "better job" is subjective anyway
-Having a job is a flex? Shouldn't most adults work?

Way to double down on the "humorless nerd" description, PP.

Another name call...
But none of what was said was funny or humorous, it was just illogical

Ex: a surfing co-host asking, "The size of the wave matters, right? Like, the bigger the wave, the more points? Does it work like that?"

Colin Jost noted that a surfer had been her hometown Lei Queen and then made a fratboy joke about the word "lei." It was inappropriate and demeaning to the world-class athlete.

But Snoop is an all-time low for American culture. Remember when the Olympics used to be about the honor of representing your country and the noble, inspiring pursuit of excellence? Now it's just locker room jokes about pot. What a sad state of affairs.

Rarely has a .gif been more spot on for a PP:

Who is Mr Spock and why? Is this more attempt at humor? Still just name calling after name calling...

OK, this has to be a troll, and it has stopped being entertaining.

Yes, he does.

He is very funny and upbeat! Go snoop.

I heard today that a collector’s pin of him blowing smoke rings is all the rage.

That is such an irresponsible image to promote for a show like the Olympics which us watched by so many kids and athletes. I swear, all that corporations care about in our capitalist country is profits!!

I can't have my feelings hurt until I understand the name you are calling me, isn't that your goal, that is why you name call. I am not upset yet so you need to tell me who Dr Spock is.

It is another reminder of the dumbing down of America. And how we idolize pop culture know-nothings over people with actual accomplishments of any stature.
