This is odd-not losing any weight

IF is stupid. So stupid.

You're starving yourself and your body is holding on to it's energy source.

I’ll eat handful of raspberries or blueberries every other day, a slice of Ezekiel bread occasionally. But generally I’ve been eating vegetables with olive oil, skinless boneless chicken thighs or breasts, lean turkey, cheese and chia seeds and some berries occasionally and very whole grain like Ezekiel bread or high fiber protein wrap. No refined sugar and no alcohol. Scale has only moved 1-2lbs in a month! I’m also strength training 3 days a week (50 minute class) and hard hiit class 2 days a week. What gives??? I’m 158lbs and 5’8. What’s strange is that I have built muscle, I know I have but how much? I want to get back to 145 b it all my clothes still fit fine I just don’t like that number on the scale.

You numbers look good for your height. How much do you want to weigh?

I would cut out the cheese, if you already have a protein source with that meal/snack. Also, if you have a food scale, weigh how much almond butter you are actually using. I eat almond butter daily on an English muffin. When I was trying to lose 5 lbs with little success, I finally weighted the English muffin before and after putting the almond butter on it. Turns out what I thought was 2 tablespoons was more like over 4!

The horror!!!!! lol.

OMG- please ignore the crazies on this thread who are telling you that you’re eating too much. Ridiculous. That is not the issue.

Think of all the time we would have back if we weren't obsessing about a scale! It sounds like you are eating foods that are good fuel for your body and incorporating exercise that strengthens your body. Let the exact number go. I wouldn't spend any more time stressing about a tablespoon of nut butter!

You all are pure madness. The person who wants to know how much of something is going into their body is the functional one. The people who eat without actually knowing how much their eating have an issue.

+2 OP this thread makes me really sad. You aren't eating enough and your body is like I'm going to hang on for dear life. You are at a healthy weight, first and foremost. Fluctuations of a few pounds up and down mean nothing, it isn't real. You mentioned having an ED in the past, to me these behaviors all sound very disordered. And unfortunately there are a lot of people on this sub that have similar disordered habits so jumped in quick to say you must be eating too much. If you've been doing this forever your body will fight back. Try fitlife_withkacey she will help you actually eat food and feel like a human, and get your metabolism back so you don't have to eat only a few nuts every day.
