As an atheist, I find this abhorrent. I would feel discriminated against.

Why? It does not apply to you. Should all houses of worship be torn down so you don’t have to walk by them?

You lack logic skills. Schools are not places of worship. They are places for children and adults to be educated in particular subjects. The Christian Religion is not one of those subjects.

This makes Louisiana sound like Gilead from Handmaids Tale. Terrifying if you ask me. Women have already lost control of their bodies, religious commandments must be displayed in public schools and colleges. Who’s not to say that next they’ll mandate that women relinquish their assets, property and wealth to the closest male relative.

This makes me want to flee the country and seek political asylum abroad. As a woman I’m starting to feel like a persecuted refugee in America.

It’s sad that with all of its present day problems of violent crime, murders, carjackings, poverty and poor education system, just to name a few…that the state of Louisiana feels this is something they need to focus on. Messed up priorities.

Louisiana = Mardi Gras + New Orleans, the city synonymous historically with every sin known to man, including idolatry.

Will they be banning Mardi Gras? Biggest idolatry festival of all. Kids can read the 10 Commandments in school, then go party for several weeks for MG, and do things with their body to get more beads thrown at them?

Louisiana is a laughing stock.

And now the US is going to go up in flames because this will be National and you morons think you are safe and you are not.

National religion will be Evangelical not Catholic, Not Jewish, Not Islamic etc and you all won't be practicing ever again.

Clearly Americans are just stupid.

What will the trend be for
Self-harm?
Teen moms?

I’m sure Louisiana will have loads of supports for you people and their young growing families.

So putting up the 10 Commandments - rules that help communities thrive - is somehow terrible. But young kids getting into trouble because they've had zero direction in life is the better option. K. Got it.

Because parents neglected to parent?

Is there a requirement for size? Like is this an 8.5x11 sheet of paper stuck in the corner next to the fire drill rules, or will it need to be a floor to ceiling poster next to the door? It sounds really stupid, how do the 10 C's impact student learning?

That will be the challenge. And the SC will likely reject it (even though they have found similar law to violate the Establishment Clause in the past).

Absolutely 1000% this is going to be installed. Project 2025 is not completed yet the writer has already said this will be added.

They are going to take away the right for women to vote as well.

No I am not wrong or insane.

LOL. Maybe because we elected a president who has broken 9 of the commandments and threatened one to prove it wouldn't detract from his following. So, why in the h^ll is this document even relevant? Because college students should act better than our highest elected official?!?!

Logic and history isn't your strong suit, eh?

Iirc, it must be on 11 x 14 paper, and include 3 paragraphs about the commandments and history. Also will be funded via donations, no state funds allowed.

Hahahahaha

No. Not even close.

So you have not read the Bible

I absolutely have. Quite a bit of it, in fact. Likely more than you. There is absolutely sex and violence in there. BUT - it is not graphic.
I don’t believe in banning any books. But I do believe that graphic sex novels should not be in elementary or middle schools.

She did not give up the prostitution she began in Egypt, when during her youth men slept with her, caressed her virgin bosom and poured out their lust on her." Ezekiel 23:8. "They stripped her naked, took away her sons and daughters and killed her with the sword." Ezekiel 23:10.

When she carried on her prostitution openly and exposed her naked body, I turned away from them in disgust, Yet she became more and more promiscuous as she recalled the days of her youth, when she was a prostitute in Egypt. There she lusted after her lovers, whose genitals were like those of donkeys and whose emission was like that of horses." Ezekiel 23: 18-20

We must have different definition of graphic. That’s not graphic.

LOL. Just some donkey dick and horse jizz, NBD.

Genitals - not graphic
Dick, cock - graphic

Emissions - not graphic
Jizz, cum - graphic

Does this really need to be explained to you?

What about the chick who slept with her dad? Please share how Christians explain that to their kids.

What about her? We’re talking about the difference between graphic and not graphic. I don’t care how Christians explain immorality to their kids.

My understanding is that religious zealots tend to not seek higher education. I expect applications to go down, and Louisiana higher education will suffer from decreased funding from do ors, lower enrollments, and brain drain from professors leaving and avoiding the failed state like the plague.

But if LSU put up passages from the Quran, suddenly its a woke left gone-to-far Islamist dungeon of indoctrination. The lack of principles are the worst part of conservatives. Can they at least conserve the constitution?

Convenient deflection you did there.
