Ten Commandments at LSU

Anonymous
The 10 items to be posted are a mishmash of Jewish, Catholic and Protestant commandments. These beliefs, or at least subsets of them can also be found in the Koran and documents of other religions as well.

These moral principles underpin societal laws dating back to Hammurabi and form the basis for English and US law.

So I can see why many in today’s society would oppose the posting of these principles with accompanying contextual documentation.

We live in an interesting period, with competing echo chambers of similar size, with a small group of individuals who will determine which path forward society chooses.

Nah. You can try to gaslight all you want but the constitution dealt with people like you a long time ago. Keep your commandments in your church and live by them all you want. It has no place in public institutions.

The Ten Commandments are originally from the Hebrew Bible, so not only Christian. Also, verses in the Koran which give moral guidance have connections to the Ten Commandments.

If you send your kid to a school in a red state OOS paying OOS dollars at this point in time you suck as a parent.

It is not hard to figure out why.

Here is a hit curriculums will no longer be science based.

Sense, please tell me where I should send my kids to college. I would love to hear your wise words of wisdom.

In the mean time, I just started a fire with one hundred dollar bills. Exactly $100 K because it says on the Benjis"s "In God We Trust"! Please follow my lead and burn all of your cash because it has GOD printed on the bills. We will start a revolution!

What do you not get about sending a kid to a state that has on of the lowest education levels in the US.
What do you not understand about Science not being taught properly at a college level.
What do you not understand about how bad the state of Louisana is going to get after PROJECT 2025 is installed for not only women but children as well?

Yes by all means send your brats to Louisana it will not end well. Because you are too stupid to have read Project 2025.

I am sure your money is already burned because you bought Truth Social stock.

Even on a good day that state is horrible you do you go on move there or better yet send your kid pay OOS $ for a shitty education and no interstate travel for women. Not like there will be any healthcare there doctors are leaving in droves.

Again, nice try. But I call hard bullshit on your attempt to make this wholesome. This is some Christian nationalism finest work. With Trump’s Supreme Court in place it might even stand but make no mistake, this is 100% unconstitutional.

It wouldn’t even matter even if you were right that his is somehow multi religious (which it is not) since the constitution states a clear separation from ALL religion.

There is no such thing as the Hebrew Bible you moron. There is the Talmud which is the Old Testament. You should not be permitted to speak on these issues ever!

I'm curious. Have you ever been to Louisana? Have you met my kids you call "brats"? Why the personal attack on my kids?

They don't attend universities in Louisana. They chose where to attend college and I supported their choices.

Do you decide where your kids can go to college? Is it based on your political beliefs? You seem to know so much about the South. Also, I'm far from MAGA. Nice try.

On a side note, I made my money on Apple stock. And Most recently on Nvidia. Sold 500k shares on Tuesday when the stock rose 3.6%.

The US Constitution and Federalist papers were pretty specific about the separation of Church and State.

What do you mean by separation of church and state? And where do these individual documents say this? I'm planning to re-read the FP and I'd like to know which one specifically deals with separation of church and state.

Please tell me you’re not this dim and your education so lacking. If you are in DC I highly recommend you start with the free National Archives and then head over to the Library of Congress. Your mind will be blown by the documents you will find…
