We know you didn't come up with that on your own, sweetheart. We have twitter, too.

I’m the PP and I did think of that on my own. But you’re free to use it, I don’t mind.

The Ten Commandments are originally from the Hebrew Bible, so not only Christian. Also, verses in the Koran which give moral guidance have connections to the Ten Commandments.

There is no such thing as the Hebrew Bible you moron. There is the Talmud which is the Old Testament. You should not be permitted to speak on these issues ever!

Um, NP here. The Hebrew Bible is a scholarly way to describe the Jewish version of the Bible. It is an appropriate term. In fact, "Old Testament" is pejorative because it buys into Christian supercessionism, which is technically antisemitic. Hence the neutral description "Hebrew Bible" offers.

Also, the Talmud is a different text entirely.

Yes- the Hebrew Bible is the Torah not the Talmud. I think I can speak for most Jews who don’t take issue with calling it the Old Testament in an academic setting to differentiate.

The Ten Commandments are front and center in Judaism, Christianity and Islam. That said, I don’t expect this to stand up constitutionally even among the conservative justices. Should be interesting.

No more than LGBTQ books in the library.

I thought conservatives opposed indoctrination in schools?

But it's OK for them to indoctrinate Christianity.

I don't think you do speak for most Jews. "Old Testament" is inappropriate for an academic setting because it presumes replacement by a "New Testament". That is an imposition of religious bias as inappropriate as... mounting the 10 commandments in secular spaces!

I wonder how many of them insisted on the 10 Commandments in school but want to remove free lunches for children.

One more thought: even if you don't feel like Christian supersessionism is a particular problem today, you should realize that the idea sets the model for a deeply-rooted conviction that it is right/just/true/inevitable that Jews will be replaced in other contexts. That's why it feels truthy for some people to claim that Black people were the real Jews, Puritans were the real Jews, the Jews of today are not descended from the ancient Israelites, Jesus was a Jewish Palestinian, the Holocaust was not about the Jews, etc. Basically, "Old Testament" reflects a very old worldview that holds we exist to be replaced.

If you send your kid to a school in a red state OOS paying OOS dollars at this point in time you suck as a parent.

It is not hard to figure out why.

Here is a hit curriculums will no longer be science based.

Sense, please tell me where I should send my kids to college. I would love to hear your wise words of wisdom.

In the mean time, I just started a fire with one hundred dollar bills. Exactly $100 K because it says on the Benjis"s "In God We Trust"! Please follow my lead and burn all of your cash because it has GOD printed on the bills. We will start a revolution!

What do you not get about sending a kid to a state that has on of the lowest education levels in the US.
What do you not understand about Science not being taught properly at a college level.
What do you not understand about how bad the state of Louisana is going to get after PROJECT 2025 is installed for not only women but children as well?

Yes by all means send your brats to Louisana it will not end well. Because you are too stupid to have read Project 2025.

I am sure your money is already burned because you bought Truth Social stock.

Even on a good day that state is horrible you do you go on move there or better yet send your kid pay OOS $ for a shitty education and no interstate travel for women. Not like there will be any healthcare there doctors are leaving in droves.

The real problem is that the only affordable colleges for white non-poor kids are in abhorrent states. So maybe when we stop providing subsidized education for everyone but my kids I can send DC to an at-least-moderate college.

But I am not interested, nor can I pay for, everyone else’s education simply to have my child go to a desired school. Simply because we make more than 250k a year (which is not a lot in a HCOL area) So, see you soon South.

The liberals are making policies that make turning to red states a necessity in some scenarios.

Where do you send your angelic kids to college?

MIT 2 of them, CMU, & Princeton. Not like you can understand these schools given your level of education is glaringly low.

Maybe the state ranked 46th in healthcare, 47th in education, 49th in economy, 49th in infrastructure, and 50th in crime should focus on something other than shoving religion down kids’ throats.

This is not hard again we live in the United States of America our Veterans fought for our right for freedom of religion. They died for god's sake protecting us from this utter crap.

Odd. I have one at MIT School of Science, Brain and Cognitive Sciences. Maybe they could get together sometime?

You served in the armed forces? Thank you for your service!

I'm also happy that your superior education allowed you to "fought" for our country. Did you grow up in Lousiana?

What do you think the past tense of fight is?
