No one is forcing you to follow them.

Well there it is, the stupidest thing I will read all day.

I mean, if they’re also cool with lines from the Koran, Talmudic law, Buddhist texts, images of Shiva, etc, it’s good with me.

Yes, liberals seem to always be correct, don’t they. Their way or the highway. Shout and cancel til they get their way.

No- you are missing the point.

Allow books in libraries and schools for kids to read. Learn about all kinds of people. Read books about Christians and other religions. Fine.

Posting the Ten Commandments in the classrooms- implies this is something that is foundational to education and all students. But it isn’t. Separation of church and state!

Me too!
Probably some similarities that may bring people together.

Conservatives: ban all books with violence and sex

Also, the Bible is about violence and sex

So they put up 10 sentences everywhere. I am supposed to feel discriminated against?

How would you feel about passages from the Koran or other non-Judeo-Christian faiths?

As an atheist, I find this abhorrent. I would feel discriminated against.

Why? It does not apply to you. Should all houses of worship be torn down so you don’t have to walk by them?

Your response is EXACTLY why this is a problem. Thanks for demonstrating the issue.

The US Constitution and Federalist papers were pretty specific about the separation of Church and State. This isn't about the words being offensive, it is about the imposition of religion by the state.

Suggesting that "liberals" find the Ten Commandments "offensive" is in and of itself, offensive.

So when Governor DeSantis tried to "cancel" Disney, he was being a liberal?

Where are elected democrats using their power of the state "canceling" anyone? Please give examples.

Conservatives hate the constitution

Except that isn't what they want. They want to be able to pick and choose and impose. They want their historically incorrect blue-eyed, blond hair Jesus on the walls of their public institutions.
