Why are men still expected to make the first move?

It’s part of the screening.

Screening out humble guys.

Isn't that what women want in the long run anyway?

Men are expected to make the first move. They created a dating app called Bumble. Women did make the first move. Women didn’t want to do that and we often quoted saying that it was too much of a burden to start a conversation. So now the app basically does it for you because women cannot initiate an interesting conversation.

With all the videos being released on social media by women and Jim’s and other places, accusing men of being creepy or staring at them when they are in fact, not doing that also created a high risk situation for men. It’s not worth being called a creep or anything like that because you’ve glanced in some women’s direction as they were doing a lift. So if this is the case, why would men approach at all?

The bottom line is the most arm. Women are schizophrenic by nature. They want to have some traditional walls yet for some people that they may like. But men don’t know who those people are so get upset when men don’t initiate the conversation, but also get upset when men do initiate the conversation.

At the end of the day, women told society at large that they would prefer the bear…so have it.

Most guys I know now are just minding their business and doing their thing, if you want us to talk to you then say hi and we will. But smart men are now screening the women they do talk to for their social media presence and other things and easily ghosting the ones who have red flags

I don’t want a man who lacks either the confidence or motivation to pursue me.

They’re not. If women aren’t showing interest in you that has to do with you, not “men”.

No you’re not. Just sit around and wait for a woman to approach you, as long as you’re happy with the possibility that it will never happen/the specific woman you want doesn’t approach you. That’s basically the same experience as unattractive women have.

Classic case of schrodingers feminist - at the same instant strong and independent and also traditional (or in another version a victim), and we can only find out which when she picks a stance that best benefits her at the moment.

AI gf's are already here. Soon AI enabled sexbots with lifelike features will be mass produced and women will become more obsolete other than for procreation. High end sex dolls are already available but they're note AI enabled yet.

At the same time women don't need most men. In fact, why would you want to have a baby with an average male when you can go to sperm bank and get top tier DNA? Outside of procreation, women can have all the recreational sex they want with willing hot partners and FWBs.

In a way this is good because all the weak men will be filtered out and they will be happy (enough) with their AI sex dolls as long they are productive enough for society.

Women will be happier because they can still have babies (whenever they want) with top partner DNA and also date/sex whoever they want while balancing career.

I see nothing wrong with this. The future will be different because of technology and cultural evolution.

While I doubt it but at the same time if more men continue to go for A.I. girlfriends or sex robots, it's possible it might pressure women to approach men or make the first move on men more often but however at the same time that seems unlikely.

There must be something in women's DNA that prevents them from making a move on a guy they like

It’s as others have described— a useful tool to assess how into a woman a guy is. Women are approached a dozen times a day. Not being able to make the first move is considered an incredibly lazy look, when eleven other men are able to do it.

Because men and women are different. There are things men do and things women do. And our society has merged the norms together thinking it would liberate. It hasn't.

Grow a pair and make the first move.
