She’s not just “chesty.”

She’s very short and round. Her face is round and she has a thick neck and broad shoulders. Her hands are short but her fingers are thick.

Interestingly, both she and her leading man have piggy snouts/upturned noses.

My problem with this season is they didn’t make her bold or interesting. Why would anyone pick her unless her personality was amazing?

Many, many men find her body type very appealing. Big boobs, all soft curves, but still petite. She also has an absolutely gorgeous face. So I'm guessing she'd do okay in Regency London, actually.

I haven't seen the season so I can't comment on how she is portrayed, but Nicola Coughlan is extremely charming. I have found the character a bit grating in prior seasons but that has to do with her storylines with her mother, which so often set her up for failure.

I binged the first 4. Very enjoyable. I think a shorter stockier Colin would have made a lot more sense to be a better match physically for Penelope, but it’s a minor quibble. The Francesca character is weird. Totally fine to be an introvert but she doesn’t need to be a complete weirdo. I’m an introvert. Introverts do talk to each other, but get tired in big crowds with too many people chattering away.

I agree! Especially when compared to Outlander. The sex scenes in outlander are soooooo hot by comparison.

Size 14-18 is midsized?? Honey, I am European and let me tell you, such sizes do not exist outside of the US!

I can assure you they exist in England.

I’m sure she doesn’t do nude scenes. It’s in her contract.

That's not true - https://variety.com/2024/tv/news/nicola-coughlan-bridgerton-season-3-nudity-body-critics-1236004976/

She asked for a cut without sex scenes to show to her parents.

How can you say that? There’s a whole season where a dude pulls out and awkwardly comes in his hand. What could be hotter? lol.

Agree, it's the mismatch. About Francesca, I think she's a spectrum-y introvert. She reminds me of my DC.

Not with the thick waist and big stomach they don't. If she were hourglass, absolutely.

Sarah is taller and more conventionally hourglass. I don't think they look at all alike.

I'll just say it- she has one of those uplifted pig noses which is hard to find attractive.

Deblin, not Colin (currently on episode 4).

NP. I love him. I'm sure it is middle age talking in large part, but he could court me any day. A lovely, considerate gentleman passionate about his interests? Sign me up.

^^I'll happily manage the lovely country estate while he's off on expeditions, and enjoy his company when he's around.

Well she's obviously a very extreme introvert. They exist. Like a pp said, maybe on the autism spectrum. I think she and her suitor quietly enjoying each other's company is quite sweet.

I love her nose. I think her face is gorgeous. It is very angelic or doll like. I don't get what you are saying at all.
