One guy on my block can't / won't make eye contact and grew his hair to his butt crack during Covid, I guess because he could? But he makes a good salary and comes from UMC privilege, so there's that. The other WashU grad on my block is very disciplined and sweet but socially awkward as hell and tends toward neuroticism. She too comes from great UUMC privilege. |
Wow. Tell us more please (Eyeroll) |
Lol. Sounds about right. |
So your experience with two WashU grads was negative, and you're generalizing the rest of the grads because of your experience? Sounds like you're the problem. |
Weirdly competitive and awkward. |
Some Georgetown and Duke grads that I work with are also "weirdly" competitive and awkward, but that doesn't mean that the school is at fault. |
Bad example. Most people do blame Duke for its douchey grads. |

I have never seen such an unhealthy obsession with hating a college. Why is it that haters come out of the woodwork at the mention of 1. WashU. 2. Colby. 3. UChicago. 4. Northeastern. 5.UVA/VT
Sad. |
No. We are from that same background, duh. |
| To answer OP’s question: try $87,544 a year. Not worth it! https://admissions.wustl.edu/cost-aid/cost-of-attendance/ |
| Why do people mention 40% ED as a knock against the school? What’s bad about that? What am I missing here? |
I never said all WashU grads are off; just the ones I know. It’s similar how some names can become tainted based on your own experiences with horrible people with that name. Anyway, my bigger issue is with the STL area and MO. Yuck. |
You must be a very narrow minded and ignorant person |
You sound like that rigid weirdo from my HS who went to WashU. LOL. |
You should look yourself in the mirror before insulting others. |
