| I believe UVa is more competitive. Why are these two being compared!? |
+1. Love Athens. |
Great demonstration of the general worthlessness of "all in" rankings. If you look at this list and think, "Wait, what? That place s*cks," it's because wallethub's inputs don't line up with your personal preferences. The same probably is true for most/all college rankings. Just sayin. |
UGA is a peer now. |
UVA is an aspirational peer for UGA. https://oir.uga.edu/peers/aspirational/ Pennsylvania State University - Main Campus* - 214777 The University of Texas at Austin* - 228778 University of California - Berkeley - 110635 University of California - Los Angeles* - 110662 University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign* - 145637 University of Michigan - Ann Arbor* - 170976 University of Minnesota - Twin Cities* - 174066 University of Virginia - Main Campus* - 234076 University of Wisconsin - Madison* - 240444 |
| I cannot imagine any college kid thinking Charlottesville was the better town. For those that think Charlottesville is a better town are you in your 50s? Athens is laid back southern but progressive with much better nightlife and an hour form Atlanta. |
Yeah, right. |
You say that like it's a positive. |
|
That’s funny. UGA needs to get ahead of Michigan, Florida, and UNC before it even has a crack at UVA. |
|
I went to both and while I loved charlottesville, Athens was a way better town. Disagree they are peer universities though.
|
Click over one tab and UVA is listed as a peer: https://oir.uga.edu/peers/sacscoc/ |
haha, click over a few more tabs, and Mississippi State is there too. |
| What's UGA comparable to? Wisconsin? UMD? |
That tab lists all the SEC schools. |
