18 yr old son vomiting and diarrhea

In case anyone is losing sleep lol. Son is eating a bit more. Has a headache - probably dehydration because it's when he gets up and moves etc. he hasn't had diarhea or vomiting today but does say he has stomach pain when he moves. Last night was pretty bad that I got worried about appendicitis but then he went to bed, slept for 10 hours and the pain passed, so maybe it was gas.
I feel like it's whack a mole! Also lots of weird strep going around. They did test at hospital but it was 3 min after he drank lol. |

If anyone has any insight about why he would have stomach pain after the bug? He's not as interested in eating as he was earlier. And headache not great. I've never dealt with this after a bug. Maybe we've been lucky. Wondering if we should test for strep or Covid again or go back to liquids only.

No one has gotten sick in house, on his team or his girlfriend who he saw a few hours before feeling ill. So maybe food poisoning vs bug? |
