Totally. Well, we did see that and we saw a bunch of them get arrested, prosecuted and put away.

I have acquaintances in DC who voiced support for the 2020 riots at the time. One particularly naive young woman kept saying that if she wants cheesecake she would take cheescake from the Cheesecake Factory--some incredibly annoying analogy that was popular in 2020 to justify smashing storefronts, looting, blocking traffic. My eyes are still rolled to the back of my head. My point is, we the people need to let leadership know that those nutty/naive/and remarkably ill-conceived voices do not represent the majority of law abiding DC residents, black, white or brown. Get on your phones and email I guess and let them know. In the meantime, is there anyone we can vote out? How's all that going?

I recall several instances where mobs of Proud Boys came to DC and ran amok on DC streets, randomly assaulting people and in one case vandalized two historic black churches and yet none of the supposed double standard you claim manifested itself.

This is pretty funny. I think people point though is that there is a difference in living in a country where you don't like the trajectory (like the things you mentioned above) and a dictatorship which is what people mean by dismantling institutions. I liked some of Trumps policy but I recognize/respect these fears that fellow Americans express. America can do better than Trump or Biden. I'm donating to Haley right now. Can't deal with another 4 years of utter drama.

If you bothered paying attention to these cases, they pretty clearly showed a double standard. The Proud boys destroyed a banner that was outside of a church; the judge said they had to pay $1 million in damages:
