If you bothered paying attention to these cases, they pretty clearly showed a double standard. The Proud boys destroyed a banner that was outside of a church; the judge said they had to pay $1 million in damages:

And the leader was convicted of destruction of property:

There was more outrage and legal action about the destruction of a banner that was hanging outside than there was about many of the stores that got smashed, or the mobs of people that went around accosting diners.[/quote]
