so their verification system must stink because I actually work in cyber and truly was just trying to purchase clothing for my teenager but they think I am some sort of crimlnal. Oh well American Eagle. So now where do I get bras for a teenager??


Which email service are you using. They are mostly owned by the same companies, but they recently changed their security data and measures, and so did Windows, and they are causing havoc with people's accounts as they get pinged now and closed for "security reasons".

Added to this is a huge Urban Outfitters order we just placed for Homecoming dresses. Bought 6, keeping 1 (maybe). They're all pretty shoddy, sizing is all over the place, etc. It's almost impossible for even a teenager to pick the right dress virtually.




If you are in this area, there are a lot of Anthropologie stores around. You could go in person in this kind of circumstance? Same with Urban Outfitters.

This is a really normal way to shop these days! All those insta personalities also show their big hauls and then report they ended up keeping 1 item out of like 20. I think it's not usually about returns but about fraud on a credit card.


It's very frequent that Nordstrom will write you a letter and tell you they don't want you as a customer after too many returns.

I order from anthro and Free People a lot and they are really fast with shipping. There might have been a security breach with cards related to yours ? I’d want to know why.


I’m the PP from a year ago. I recognize my post. I did eventually contact custom service at Anthropologie to ask what was happening. They said they’d look into it and get back to me. This was months ago. Never heard back. They are serious worst company.

Stores offer a fraction of what they offer online. I’m not banned from anthro but from Nordstrom rack. Online is really the only way I shop these days. I may look around a store briefly if after I make a return.

Same. They tried to overcharge me an extra day and I sent my bank the proof that i returned the car the day before a holiday that they tried to charge me for. So my bank cancelled the payment. I guess they’re mad now. Oh well they should’ve got that right.

Try creating yet another new account. This time, use an entirely new device and new internet connection (for example, if you were using a laptop and home wifi, try using your iphone with cellular connection, i.e. wifi off).

Have you checked with the card people to see if they can find declines?

I've had that problem on occasion just because something funky happened during the transaction, although a month later I was fine on whatever site.
