Do you have kids and/or animals in your bed regularly?

I am allergic to cats but I love when people tell me they sleep on their heads. I would love that.

One of mine does! On my pillow every night, usually with her paws in my hair. Sometime a nose in my ear. Lots of purrs. It’s amazing.

And actually, easier than the one who sleeps by my feet. That can make it harder to roll around (though I’ve had cats since I was a kid and have gotten pretty good at rolling and not disturbing a cat!)

+1. I have an extra pillow behind my pillow that my two smaller dogs take turns sleeping on. They put their head next to my head, and sleep like that all night. I love it, and love that they have their own space without encroaching on my leg room.

My parents had a “no kids in our bed” rule (though I napped in there during the day sometimes) and always had cats on their bed and I turned out just fine. Same rules for my kids.

+1. I posted earlier, but absolutely agree with this. Cats and dogs can't interfere with your intimate life.

No, but my kids are 7 and 9. For a while when the younger one was 4-5, I had a 5:30am workout class and he would wake up around 6 and crawl into my spot in the bed next to my husband after I left.

When we dog sit for a friend, we let her little 12lb dog sleep with us because that is what she’s used to at home and it feels cruel when she’s already missing home.

We have Irish triplets, all of whom cycled through the bed at some point. So yeah, we obviously found time for sex. Even more now after he got snipped.

Cat sleeps in the bed every night, dog is too fat so he's not allowed.

I coslept with all my babies until weaning. They are very cuddly. In the morning the younger ones still climb into bed with me when they wake up, and I cherish it.

The dog is an unclean animal.

Friend 1: 2yo in their bed, 5yo on their floor next to their bed

Friend 2: 4yo, 2yo, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and my friend in their cali king bed every night. Her husband sleeps on the couch.

Friend 3: 2 dogs in their bed, 11mo in pack n play next to their bed

Friend 4: dog and cat in their bed (dog sleeps between them)

Do you have animals and/or kids in your bed? When do you and your partner have alone time? Where do you have sex?[/quote]

The children and dogs are a buffer to keep the husband away.

I've had two cats who both sleep by my feet but I'd have loved one who slept by my head. My current cat is way too large for this though and he only comes up by the pillows for occasional snuggles or to make one of us get up to do something for him, but he sleeps by my feet.

The cute thing is that occasionally I stay up late to work on the couch and he'll come out there to sleep next to me. Also when my DC is sick I'll sleep in her room (she has a full size bed), and he'll come in there to sleep by my feet in her bed too. I find it hard to sleep on vacation sometimes because he's not there.

To each their own but since you asked: cat doesn't sleep on the sheets. He has his own blanket that get laid at the bottom of my side of the duvet and he only sleeps on that, both it and the duvet are washed regularly. Cat is extremely tidy (indoor only) and other than some shedding, I'd say his blanket is probably cleaner than our sheets after a few nights of sleeping in them.

I had a roommate with dogs who slept in her bed and I'd see what it took to get all the dog hair off her duvet, and I do think that was kind of gross, especially because dogs go outside multiple times a day and obviously aren't getting full baths every time they come home.
