My question that I'm wrestling with: does she deserve to die for this? One less person to vote Republican, but four daughters without their mother. I think they're like 28, 26, 23 and 21 - surely MLR can sell the mansion and downsize.

My mid 40s single daughter pays about $500 for an ACA policy, she makes about $80K and does not qualify for any subsidies.

Why does she have to die for this? She has assets she can sell to fund her care. She chose to gamble and lost, but she's in the position where she can still afford treatment

+1 ours was $1400 for family of 4. The problem is that it's a really high deductible plan.

In any case, we are not as fortunate as MLR to be famous and have people donate to our gofundme for medical care.

If she is a R and was against ACA, then it seems she believes in pulling herself by her own bootstraps, no? Fortunately she has a gofundme. What about all the average people with no gofundme to pay for their care.

I find people who were so against ACA but quickly jump on the gofundme for their care somewhat hypocritical. Everyone deserves medical care. It's too bad she didn't feel the same way.

why is the ^PP an ahole for stating this? It's true that people who were against ACA and then got sick and needed a gofundme supported policies that "cut off their nose to spite their face".

No one is saying she deserves to die for this. Do I care if her medical care wipes out her daughters' inheritance when she herself didn't? Nope. But at least one of her daughters clearly does.
