| High standards I have for him? The guy has a PhD. I don’t have one and I know to not use emergency exits unless there is an emergency nor do I pull fire alarms unless there is an emergency. I learned this by the time I was 6 or 7. |
What “serious trouble” do you think you’d be in? |
Sorry I stand corrected. I’ve googled it. Texas tried to put an 11 year old in prison for it. |
By your own admission, you have no idea what he was trying to do but you are sure the he is lying. I am not sure that is particularly sharp analysis. |
so you will ignore he used an emergency exit, clearly labelled in a non emergency and pulled the fire alarm? How low will you sink to defend someone merely because they are of your political party? |
For what purpose? He and all Democrats but one voted in favor of it. The bill passed by a significant margin. |
Truly, truly, you people sound deranged getting so worked up about this. |
Nobody has disputed that the door is regularly used by Members of Congress during the week. The sign on the door looks like it is just resting on the crossbar and it is probably removed during the week. Bowman's explanation that in a rush to vote, he got confused and pulled the alarm, expecting it to open the door. A stupid move which even he admits. But, not a nefarious act. Yes, accuse me of defending a member of my own party but also consider your eagerness to present this as something it is not. Couldn't I similarly accuse you of partisanship? Again, you can't even come up with an alternative explanation but expect us to agree with you that he is lying. |
| This is nbd. I'm surprised this thread has gone on this long. It's not like he was wearing a tan suit. |
| if he was a white republican this thread would be two pages |
It would go on your PERMANENT RECORD. |
Oh yeah? |
The fire alarm was clearly marked fire |
| I just think he did it because he’s not very bright. |
Also he was a school principal. Probably more relevant here than his PhD. |
